Dave and Lauren
To say the first nine years of our marriage was rough would be a serious understatement. Lauren and I struggled deeply with communication. We didn’t know how to navigate conflict in a healthy way and even minor disagreements could lead to days, sometimes a full week, of silence between us. Over time, we built walls around ourselves, and our connection felt more distant than ever.
After years of trying to manage things on our own, we finally made the decision to seek help. We’re so grateful that we found Tom and Ruth Ann.
From the very beginning, they created a space where both of us felt heard, seen, and supported. They gently guided us toward understanding the power of empathy and the importance of truly listening to one another, not with the intent to respond, but with the intent to hear and connect. They helped us see that marriage isn’t about winning arguments; it’s about learning to stand on the same side of the struggle.
Tom and Ruth Ann also prayed with us and for us, which meant so much. Their care runs deep, and it's clear that helping couples heal and grow is not just a skill for them—it’s a calling.
Today, our marriage is stronger, healthier, and more connected than we thought possible. If you’re in a place where things feel broken or distant, don’t wait. We wholeheartedly recommend Tom and Ruth Ann. They helped us change the course of our marriage and we believe they can do the same for others.
